How we handle
your data

Visits and clicks. The pages you open, the links and buttons you tap (such as WhatsApp, Discord, tournament and livestream links), how long a page stays open and how far you scroll, how quickly pages load on your device, your device type and browser, and your approximate location: country, state and city. Location is worked out from your IP address, which is then thrown away and never stored.

What you send us. Contact and collaboration forms: your name, email, organisation and message. Squad applications: your in-game name and ID, rank, role, photo, email, WhatsApp number and gameplay link. Tournament entries: team name, captain name, email, WhatsApp number, the roster of in-game names and IDs and, for paid tournaments, the payment receipt you upload.

What we never collect. Card details. Entry fees are paid by bank transfer, outside this site.

To see what is working on the site and improve it.

To run tournaments: confirm entries, check payments and reach captains.

To review squad applications and reply to your messages.

To show sponsors how their ads performed, as totals only. A sponsor never learns who you are.

Accept. Our analytics stores an ID in your browser, so a return visit is recognised as the same visitor.

Decline. Your visits and clicks are still counted, but nothing that recognises you is kept on your device. We save your choice itself, so we do not ask again.

Change your mind. Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

PostHog for analytics, on servers in the European Union.

Cloudinary for images and payment receipts. Receipts are private and only our admins can open them.

Resend for the emails we send you.

Vercel and Google Cloud for hosting the site and its server.

MongoDB Atlas for our database.

We do not sell your data to anyone.

Analytics is kept by PostHog for as long as our plan allows. It is not linked to your name or contact details.

Forms, applications and entries are kept for as long as we need them to run the squad and our tournaments. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email info@livequestet.com and we will respond as soon as we can.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
